About me
My name is Bayron Perez, and I’m from Koreatown, Los Angeles-a lifelong Dodgers fan. I have experience in public relations writing, multimedia design and effective team communication. My interest in multimedia and PR took off during the end of my second year and the start of my third year of college, when I discovered a passion for creating digital content and saw potential in a career focused on social media.
I’ve volunteered with CHIRLA, helping organize and participate in a student-led walkout for DACA. Recently, I worked as an assistant lighting designer at a Dodgers after-party during Game 1 of the World Series (Dodgers vs. Yankees). The event, hosted for executives, season pass holders and ticketed guests, introduced me to PR professionals in event planning. I enjoyed witnessing the creative process and the effort required to deliver a successful outcome. It also added to my technical knowledge in lighting design.
Previously, I worked as a dog boarder and a delivery driver, where I developed strong multitasking skills. Although I may not have extensive professional experience yet, I’m confident in my ability to handle projects with dedication and care. I’m initially introverted but quickly become social, often engaging with humor. I strive for perfection in my work and appreciate feedback that helps me grow.
